Fencing Parent Information

One of the keys for unlocking any student's potential is our relationship and support of the parent. We often receive parent inquiries along the lines of:

• “How can I help to support my child and foster his love of fencing?”
• “What’s going through her head in a tournament?”
• “What can I do to help him deal with losses?”
• “What can I do to work better with her coaches to help her grow and mature?”

The parents who understand the journey their kids are going through and who have patience and belief in them throughout may not always see a gold medal around their kid’s neck, but they’re always going to see a smile—and that’s a victory for both parent and fencer alike.  If you have any questions about this amazing sport, just ask us.  In the meantime, below is information you may find helpful.
